ORGANIZING IS A NATURAL PASSION THAT BECAME A CAREER.

Organizing seamlessly became part of my routine when I moved into my first apartment. I cherish the seasonal decorations, the neatness, and the cleanliness. However, everything changed when I had a daughter named Tori, who seemed to sweep all that away. I didn’t want to be overly strict about the mess she created every minute of her toddler days, so I chose to embrace the chaos and let her enjoy her messy moments. I would tidy up at night while she was asleep, preparing for her to do it all over again the next day. Now, let’s rewind for a moment. I was a teenager living with my grandmother in High Point, NC, where the furniture market was a major attraction. For her, the best decorations and furniture pieces were found after the market. Oh, how she loved to venture to warehouses and yard sales all around the city, and I absolutely dreaded it. Yet, if I didn’t wake up at 5 a.m. on Saturday mornings, I would miss my hair appointment and a delicious lunch. I had no desire to be stuck at home eating peanut butter sandwiches or whatever my grandfather would whip up for me—no thanks! So, I made it a point to get up and ride around the city with her. Shopping with my grandmother and becoming a mother taught me the importance of organization—both at home and in the workplace—for a smoother day. Being able to find exactly what I need, whether it's the perfect outfit for the day or the files for my boss, is invaluable.
